The title alone does it – anything that sounds like it would sooth and ease the ill-effects of a hangover is a winner in my book. I’m a huge fan of Too Faced so was really curious to try their latest skincare offering, Hangover Replenishing Primer. Unlike the type induced by drinking perhaps a little too much red wine, Too Faced’s playful take promises to cure your beauty hangover, so if you’re suffering with tired, dry skin, they say this is the bottle to be reaching for!
I work long, high-pressure hours in a temperature controlled office environment, so I’m a big believer of primers. Used to smooth a multitude of skin sins as well as hold your foundation firmly in place, they give that helping hand that can make just that little bit of difference to your hectic lifestyle and keep you feeling in control. This new primer from Too Faced instantly appealed to me when I discovered its hero ingredient to be coconut water – it conjures up relaxing thoughts of tropical holidays and healthy living. (When I say healthy living I mean green smoothies, not using your Nutri Bullet to blend frozen margaritas!)
Presented in cute, simple packaging the primer is infused with probiotics and skin rejuvenators – along with the coconut water – that work together to help boost skins radiance, improve elasticity and promote hydration. Paraben free and vegan friendly the formula smells fresh and delicious. A couple of pumps smoothed over the skin sinks in well and feels light. Those with dry skin should apply over their regular moisturiser, but I feel you could otherwise use this in place of your moisturiser in the morning. Wear alone for a dewy appearance, or allow to sink in before applying make-up. Lovely! £27, you’ll find this gem of a product now available from Debenhams here.
