The nicest nude | Rimmel Colour Rush Balm

The nicest nude | Rimmel Colour Rush Balm

Those that know me – and my gregarious beauty ways – will know that it’s a pretty big deal if I buy something twice, and I’ve just bought my third stick of Rimmel’s Colur Rush Balm in the shade Drive me Nude. Well, fourth if you count one I bought to gift to a friend. The colour that this hydrating colour first appears really doesn’t do it justice. The packet looks a murky brown/beige, and not like the pretty, nudey, muted pink that actually goes on. I LOVE this shade for an every day look.

Statemeant lipstick is awesome, but there are days when I just don’t have time to perfectly line the shape, or simply cannot be bothered – hey, that’s ok! So, I was on the hunt for that perfect nude shade. I tried lipsticks a la Kendall Jenner, but couldn’t find anything I liked that was hydrating enough.

On a Boots browse I was on a swatchign frenzy, and actually tried this shade by mistake as it had been placed in the wrong section – but to my surprise the shade that I scribbled on my hand looked so pretty in pink, and not the brown tinge I thought it would. I purchased one and have been wearing it almost daily since!

Just £5.99 from Boots, you can choose from a whopping 12 shades, and because it’s a balm it’s not as drying as a lot of lipsticks, but don’t worry about lack of colour pay off, what’s nice about this product is its so easy to build, one slick and you’re good to go, or layer up for a more intense colour which will last up to lunch. Oh, and it smells (and tastes) like vanilla!

At the moment you can grab these tasty little sticks from Boots for £5.99, or two for £10. Or Lookfantastic shoppers can pick them up for a reduced £4.79 in three colour shades
